    Another great lift yesterday at the olympics (para).

    Siamand Rahman from Iran bench pressed 310kg to set a new world record.

    There is no video yet (that I know of) but this is him a year ago doing 301kg. Who said powerlifting would never be in the olympics. It already is. Well, sort of.

    I know. I think I explained that with the "para" bit. It was a bit of tongue in cheek. Butt cheek mebbe.

    Interesting that the limpies actually ran a faster 1500m than the "normal" olympians.

    I reckon it's a lot easier to bench 300kg if you weigh 300kg
