When you look at how muscle fibers are made and behave 'stretching' has merit. Whether that is static or dynamic is another matter. The temperature of the muscle is another semantic debate. And whether a muscle can ever be considered 'cold' while one is alive because, yes, we are warm blooded, is just silly.

Warp up is very important and when i do resistance training i will do a light set to worm up before kicking the weight up.
And when i do pull up or push up i don't need warm up.

Nothing like worms at warp speed

Don't waste your time with static stretching. Dynamic stretching is beneficial, as is a bit of cardio (say 5-10 mins). Otherwise start with a few light sets and then do your working sets. Easy!
