The Do-Wins are okay. My pair's from an earlier run, wooden soles. No run available in Australia now that I know of, I send my lifters to the AWF website now., those are pretty good. Most WL shoes are sold to crossfitters nowadays so the sole is more flexible - since they'll do sprints between sets of snatches, that sort of thing. We don't do that, so a more rigid sole works for us.

Why do I wear them? More stable base to lift on. With my wonky back I need all the help I can get. Like the belt, feels better with than without.

Nike Romalos for squats.

Whatever "sports" shoes I happen to have for bench. Sometimes the Nikes. Both kick the heel up a touch which I need on bench.

Asics wrestling shoes for deads. They are not the high top ones, just normal ankle height but soft with a thin soul. In a comp I would wear my sweet Metal deadlift shoes.

Yeah the nikes seem like a good pair

dont think I can do bare feet
I'm just not that hard core

I have wide feet (cos girth is more important than length) so I find the nikes a better fit than the adidas. It depends on what shape foot you have. Adidas seem to be better for normal to narrow feet.

Yeah have alwasy found the same thing, Nike is better for a wider foot, Adidas for narrow and Asics is about in between
