I agree that cate Campbell should have won; one of greatest chokes ever. she was the form swimmer after semis. I rank it right up there with Norman's last round at us masters golf.
 
One Aussie swimmer interviewed after losing the race was asked how he felt about it and he answers that he couldn't have been happier with the result
WHAT THE FUCK, YOU FUCKEN LOST, HOW COULD YOU BE HAPPY WITH THAT.
What ever happened to the competitive spirit?
He should've been devastated, he should've said he was crap and disappointed in himself.
Is this PC now creeping into sport also?

There is is a problem at the AIS.
 
They don't want to admit that they performed poorly.
Nothing wrong with admitting that you had a bad day.
 
Once or twice, ok it happens, but it seems to be rife in the Aus Swim team. Also in previous games.
 
He should be ashamed of such composure in defeat.

Maybe he was happy to have competed at the Olympics despite not winning gold.
