Not sure if Arnold was just joking with this video or whether he was actually serious about what he was saying. I say that because he made a big mistake in the very first couple of minutes when going from the bench press to the lat pulldown. This subject (or debate to some) is all over the net. It goes something like this: Train Muscles NOT Movements, or Train movements NOT muscles, or Train both muscles and movements. I won't get into it here, but it suffices to say that for what Arnold was saying to be certified as being "true", he would have gone from the bench press to a back rowing exercise and not the lat pulldown. The lat pulldown antagonist would be an overhead pressing exercise and so on. I'm not getting technical with names like vertical and/or horizontal push or pull etc. My aim was just to point out to the uninitiated that what Arnold said in his first couple of minutes was incorrect....,with all due respect to the Austrian Oak of course.

The thing with Arnold is he says a lot of things.
individuality is a huge component when it comes to competitive bodybiulding.
and I say this because Arnold is a perfect example of the term smoke and mirrors.

the hereditary differences between individuals are such that some men who have never picked up a barbell will be actually stronger and more muscular than some men who have worked out properly for years.

He said go from a pushing movement to a pulling movement, which is just one way to structure your exercises, nothing wrong with that
But I ask myself does it even really matter, we are all different in mind and body

Darkoz, this whole issue is a non-issue to me, as I said in my post, that some want to even turn it into some sort of debate. My point still stands as pulling for the sake of pulling is not what this subject is about Darkoz. And you're right, we're all somewhat differently built, from a mechanical advantage/disadvantage point of view. Which is yet another reason I'm 100% against anyone saying that such and such exercise is best for building such and such muscle etc. What really ought to be said is , this or that exercise is best for me (because my certain built allows it to be so), where the way you are built, may not only make it near useless, but damn dangerous as well.
