So I blew out the sole of my current squating shoes and I'm looking at getting a proper pair, their is quite a range these days.
I've heard addidas make a decent pair any advice and/or info would be great.

I've got the Inov8 Fastlift 335's. Pretty sure @Repacked ; bought some after I recommended them.
Did a review on them a while ago but they're an excellent shoe for the price. Wiggle usually have them cheap.

How much of a heel do you want? The FL335's aren't that tall but tall enough to allow good depth for most I would say.

Why not take your current shoes to a shoe repairer and save $200 in the process. For squatting you simply need a solid platform underneath your feet, and that's what your current shoes do have. If you wish to start moving your feet around in a fast manner whilst carrying a loaded bar above you, then go ahead and invest in some new shoes (if you're simply sick and tired of the shoe you've got). My weightlifting shoes is over 30 years old, and yes, I did repair its insole once.

my current shoes are an old pair of basketball shoes I had laying around that I felt were stable enough to not lose to much drive. I burst the little gel/air pocket in them so I not sure that can be repaired, I'd also like a proper pair ;)

I looked at wiggle earlier, they have limited sizes/colourways of the 335's left but they're going very cheap (about $110). Next option would be the 370's. Again, limited sizes but decent discount. The new 2016 model are the 325's.

If you don't need a heel or want them flat and cheap, get some Chucks. Or the Iron Tank high tops (Orion or Titans) are both good.

Looking at your training posts, I recall your PB being 125??

Do you really need squat shoes? I do sets of 10 with 125 and I generally do them barefoot.

Personally at your stage I would not be worried about outlaying $$ for specialised shoes for squatting, but thats just me, I generally train barefoot, just got to watch dropping weights....

Ah no worries mate, when you said earlier squatting shoes, I presumed some weightlifting shoes gone bad or something. For sure, get yourself some solid base, but spend the least amount if squats is all you'd be using them for.

I think this is all that you need: http://www.qwa.org/Store.aspx

Wont fit an 11.5? Could be worth finding a local stockist and checking the sizes.
The 370's seem good value for 170. From memory they were over 200 when i bought my 335's

I reckon that link Fadi put up would be alright for 115 delivered

was wearing a UK 13 for most my life until I realised I can actually fit nicely into a 12 so 11.5 might be a push

Are you going to be using them just in the gym, or walking around a bit (to and from the gym, cardio)? If just in the gym, I found the Iron Tanks pretty good for a basic shoe. You can pick them up during sales time for about $80.

I have Innov8 335 (0.65" heel lift), Reebok Lifter plus 2.0s (0.65" heel lift), and Nike Romeleo 2s (0.75" heel lift).

Build quality of all of them is excellent.

The Nikes didn't suit me and gave me knee issues.

The reeboks are very comfortable due to the u-form sole (heat them in the oven then mold to your feet), but I prefer the lighter Innov8 335s.

Note: I got the reeboks and the innov8s for under $100 each whilst on sale. The Nikes were expensive.

But these days they all just take room in my wardrobe and I use the Reebok CF Lite TR (the ones designed by Mark Bell that look like chucks) that can be had for $64.

Purely WL shoes, I got some 370's from wiggle last night for just over $100 will take about a week to get here. Shame there isn't any outlet stores here in WA where I could go and try them all on.
