You'd have though exposure would be beneficial?

Hence the end of my comment. For the newer guys who aren't going to contend for the O, yeah maybe try and do several shows, maybe pick up some prize money and get your name out there, qualify and get on the O stage nonetheless. The bigger names probably do their contracted number of shows and focus on the main event if they've qualified.

Yeah fair enough for the bigger guys. Wolfe, Heath, Rhodden etc but there are dozens of pro's who earned their card and don't compete.

True. It's no golden ticket. Just because you get granted pro status doesn't mean you want to head down that path. Just means you've qualified.
