Regardless of true results, Ive gone to fish x 3 per week, chicken x 2 days a week and lamb on a sunday. Its probably not the meat itself but everything that farming does to it that causes it.

Other stuff that causes cancer or increases cancer risk (by no means a complete list):

Peanuts
Air freshners
Smoking tobacco
Lack of exercise
Asbestos
Hair dyes
Plastic bottles
Alcohol
Being a fat fuk
Being a fat lazy fuk
Diesel
Leather dust
Herpes
Salted fish
Soot
Shale oil
Tamoxifen (;))
Smog
Johnson baby shampoo
Talc
Carpet

So, pretty much everything causes cancer. So, enjoy your bacon, red meat and sausages then go deadlift double bodyweight for repz.

Seems like about 20 years later, 'science" and "research" are starting to come up with what lifters knew all along:

http://www.theage.com.au/national/h...emicals-linked-to-cancer-20151108-gktips.html

Scientists found that heating up vegetable oils led to the release of high concentrations of chemicals called aldehydes, which have been linked to illnesses including cancer, heart disease and dementia.
Martin Grootveld, a professor of bioanalytical chemistry and chemical pathology, said that his research showed "a typical meal of fish and chips", fried in vegetable oil, contained as much as 100 to 200 times more toxic aldehydes than the safe daily limit set by the World Health Organisation.
In contrast, heating up butter, olive oil and lard in tests produced much lower levels of aldehydes. Coconut oil produced the lowest levels of the harmful chemicals.

Yay I've been stir flying with extra virgin olive oil since forever! Fcuk cooking with vegetable oils and baking with margaine
