Heavy OHP and Arnie presses, lighter front, rear and side raises.

I like cables occasionally on the raises (especially rear) for the constant tension and Jeff Cavalier's tips for side raises. Slight lean forwards and tipping the pinky up to keep the side delt parallel with the ground.

I think a lot of people go too heavy on the isolation work/raises and end up sacrificing form. Also doing those stupid RC exercises with db's if you count that as shoulder work.

I got the best results when dropping the weight a bit and upping the reps. Volume seems to be the key for shoulders, well at least for me.

· What are your thoughts and guidelines on training delts?

Combination of compound and isolation movements, varying rep ranges.

· What do you do for delts?

Atm...

Day 1 - Heavy BB OHP

Day 2 - Standing DB press
DB lat raises
Seated bent over db rear delt flyes and/or standing rear delt calbe flyes
Seated Smith BTN press

· What do you think most people do incorrectly when training delts?

Bent arm chicken wing bob down DB lateral raises. Sick of seeing this. Do yourself a favour, drop the weight and get a better result.

· Any other questions/comments regarding the topic.

If you do what you've always done, you get what you've always got. If something makes sense to you try it, if you don't like it move on.
