can't handle standing up for long periods, or walking slowly... get so sore.
 
Wow, who watches 6 hrs of telly a day? Or sits for 11 hrs a day (on average)? Must be the Oprah loving overweight yanks skewing results again!
 
I looked into this and apparently it's not sitting that's the problem, it's inactivity.

I was exploring the concept of Beanbags in Offices, but that's just help Grunta root the female staff.
 
Ever since i stopped sitting on the couch so much and switch to an upright chair my back and shoulder pain decreased. Watching tv whilst lying on the couch is very bad for the back, neck and shoulders.
 
They standing still at a Desk or whatever isn't the answer either, bad for circulation. A combination of sitting and standing seems to be about right, if stationary.
