Trueeeee, didn't think of trying dumbell press, are these the same as the arnold press?

These are alternating seated db shoulder press's, I don't do presses standing up, prefer other movements for posterior chain.
This is an excellent movement. This link is pretty basic but you get the idea. You can do these at the same time as well.

An arnold press is slightly different to these, it involves another movement. Once again you can do these seated or standing.
Arnold press involves more muscles than a normal db shoulder press in my opinion.

Military Press can be a dangerous movement if performed badly, read up on in thoroughly.
Some awesome tips to be had on youtube, double check the information against other trainers.
And hopefully come out with an excellent technique.
 
Standing DB press for posterior chain? Am I missing something...?

Yes sir, you engage everything from calves to your neck performing a standing db press.
Your core is engaged to stabilize you, as are your glutes, hamstrings, upper/lower/middle back.
You're not actively contracting them, but they certainly are working.

Agreed but you would get negligible strength or hypertrophy effects in reality.
