Yes. Laurence Scott, from Geelong, hit some world records in his first outing as an M3 and won gold as well.

Hoping to next year. Its in Texas so no horrific 24hr flight to Europe. I also plan to hit the Commonwealth Champs this November/December. Its being held in Vancouver so a nice way to ease into long distance comps.

aljada; squatted 215, benched 150 and did a token deadlift of 175 in teh 83s

I wonder who told him to take such a big jump on his last dead. He certianly would have been in the running for 282.5

Surely not. With a 215 squat he should be a low to mid 200 deadlifter. Looks like he wrenched something.

He hurt his back benching
He has squatted 230kg raw and pulled 220

He is a junior doctor though and works 60h a week so has only really trained bench

Mirin hard @ JP's results. Really nice guy too.

I feel bad for Alex with his deadlift, must have been incredibly frustrating. George Seeger didn't perform as well as I might have thought either.

Brett Gibbs (NZ) did real well, missing gold by one lift. 83kg class. Went right down to the wire.

No aussies in the 93 & 105 classes? Dafuqs wrong you all you guys?

The 120kg div was good, but second last deadlift should not have passed.

Could not believe what I saw, but fortunately Algerian got last deadlift in any case.
