MFP has decided to install pop up ads. I wasn't too sure if anyone else was getting them so i decided to email them thinking it was a bug.
Their reply was simply "We've done it to keep the app free".
Everytime i log a new item I get a pop up to a slots game and unknowlingly keep hitting the Install button as it appears where the "Add item" should be in the app.
Does anyone know if a pop up blocker will stop this? Its driving me insane!

Yea the app has turned to crap now, I need to disconnect from WiFi for the app to work. I get the ads too.

If I knew this I wouldn't have installed the update lol..

Get Fucked, MFP! You can shove it into Pharaoah and your slot..

Yeah thought was mine only to. Have updated the app since. Now powered by underarmour and the popups seem gone

keep the app free ppff tossers as if someone would pay to use the app to start with , once they start charging they would lose their customer base straight off
but this latest move i would say would drive away alot of their customers now

Please elaborate, what is powered by underarmour? No app under that name
Under armour bought the app a while ago, can't remember how much but it was a crazy amount. The latest update is their first version I believe, mine has what stringers is saying on the logo

Do you guys use MFP for the other functions or just to get calories for foods?
I'm using it to gauge my calorie intake so I can cut.. its helped me figure out what my BMR is, I log what I eat to check that I stay under for cutting purposes. Once I finish cutting I'll ditch the bloody thing!

Mine are all interlinked. Cals/Macros on MFP, Withings scales and my jawbone up that all send data between the three apps
