It's on again, this time starting in February (tomorrow).

Simply go here and sign up from midnight tonight.
Max's Muscle-Up Challenge 2014

The official start will be in 2 weeks, but the earlier you sign up, the more of a head start you have.

There is also a female version of the challenge called the Maxine's Challenge.
Maxine's Shape-Up Challenge 2014

Here are the online mags they've just released with more info and winners from last year. (My transformation is posted on page 14.)
ISSUU - CHALLENGE NEWS | Maxs Muscle-Up Challenge Online Edition by MAXS
ISSUU - CHALLENGE NEWS | MaxineS

How the challenge works:
- You post a before photo with a newspaper to confirm date. They then provided free training and nutritional plans depending on your goals. It's then up to you to train as hard as you can to make the biggest transformation. Then they pick the Top 50, Top 10 and #1 male and female transformation. There are lots of prizes along the way.
- It's free to sign up and the only condition of entry is to purchase at least one Max's product.
- The organisers and coaches are actual bodybuilders so you do get some real world experience from people who know what they're doing.

With how much talk gets thrown around on this forum, I would suspect there are quite a few people who could do very well and make some impressive transformations.

Winners from last year.

I feel sorry for the guys that have never stepped foot in a gym before expecting results like that. Kunce that win these kinds of things have either been training for years and fattened up especially for it or run a cycle thru the comp as its not tested anyway.

How long is this challenge for? You reckon that kunce didn't run a few cycles?

12 weeks.

I highly doubt it. Most of the people who sign up are gym noobs. They barely know how to eat properly, so they would be clueless about that stuff.

Being a part of 2 challenges, and seeing all the hard work everyone puts it, it's just that, hard word. When you get to a very low body fat you actually look larger than you are.

Towards the tail end of the challenge last year I had people come up to me in gym and say I've put on a bit on size, where in fact I had lost over 10kg.

That guy there certainly ain't no gym noob.

I feel the other way, get leaner, look smaller. I see super lean guys training all the time and even though they've clearly got a decent amount of muscle mass, they'd look a lot bigger if they were over 10-12% BF

without AAS. Are you kidding Steve!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It ain't the BCAAs mate. Kunt is pinning shitloads for that 12 week transformation.

If you go back over past winners, none of them were particularly active pre challenge. They were mostly people who have tired to train by failed. Then when the Max's Challenge came around they gave it 100% for once.

I think if some of the people here signed up and gave it a go, they would realise how effective strict dieting and training really is.

I think most of the people here know what strict dieting and good training does. I think a lot of the people here have been doing this a lot longer than you.

That's true. But I see a lot more talk than results posted here.

I'm advertising the challenge here as it's a positive community with a common goal. Seeing there are set dates, you know your deadline and it obviously works. I don't think it's fair to shoot down people's hard work by immediately jumping to the conclusion that they juiced.

Lol I did that last year. Well I took my before photo after a large stir fry dinner.

What does the challenge actually involve?
From checking the website , it looks like simply following the training plan and nutritional plan they give you, as well as indulging in their overpriced supplments.
