besides a boost to self confidence, and performance in sports. But what else has it done for you?

It made me more determined to improve my life and also realized that I could make big changes with hard work and persistence.

Not fit, lying on a bench and grunting out heavy sets has done little for my fitness.
But carrying around some muscle has done wonders for my ego, not that I needed a boost in that dept, but it did.

I'm not fit anymore.. But I have learned some universally applicable things

- focus on the work, not the reward

- give as much of your focus to the things that matter

Maintaining life long strength of body has definitely contributed to a stronger will. Not surprisingly, when I'm training regularly, everything seems to go well. Plus when I thump the table it makes more noise.

It makes it a lot easier to judge other peoples appearance.

My wife stopped beating me up.

Some guy offered me money if he could feel me up then jerk off.
