How do you deal with callus tears?

1) If you tear a callus, how do you train while it heals? How do you get it to heal as fast as possible?
2) How do you minimize tears in the first place?

Tears just happen when the callous has taken all it can I think.

Generally just rip 'em off and put 'em in the bosses coffee.

Cut them off them wait a few day to use hand again, on the off occasion I need to work with a fresh tear I just tape it up

I've never torn one...Use a bastard file and grind em down, but if you grip the bar more in your fingers instead of your palm, it doesn't tear them...

I cut them off with scissors.

If not a lot of grip work (deads followed by shrugs followed by chins) can be impossible. Callouses digging into bruised flesh sucks

Fuck yeah I thought I was the only one. Nothing works better then a Razor blade or a nice sharp spiderco blade

I blade mine down to, then use this bad boy to smooth them off so my hands don't look chopped to pieces
