Great effort. Did it easy and not on rings and nothing I would consider kipping. Saw crossfitters explaining how to do it on espn. Fuck me what a joke.

It's fricken hard without a little kip. You need to come out (away from the bar) enough to allow the shoulders to move properly.

Bloody thick assed back too taurus!

spartacus at some time sober and not in the company of the female variety I'll be back to give a proper criteria for determining a great Athlete.

bannedgerry I think we can come up a better criteria for deciding an Athlete than spartacus 's 100m, 800m, Clean and Press, Chim Ups, Bench

I think ole Sparty preferred these coz he had obviously focused on them over his lifting life. Clean and Press is good IF you Clean properly. Sparty had an horrendous Clean, so proof there are flaws to this criteria.

I wish I could clean properly. Always wanted to be coached in the classical lifts.

just because you are good at 1 aspect of athletic performance, doesnt mean it governs all. For example Joe Frazier couldnt swim, but could bob weave and throw punches for 15 rounds at a fast clip. Seriously good athlete. I think probably the Decathalon or Crossfit would determine the closest to all round performance. I think if you can powerlift to a decent extent as well as retain the athleticism to do other sports is another indicator. I think overall on this board that fulla Taurus would of been the best here. Rugby player.
