Is Sugar Toxic - 60 Minutes Investigates

Yep, plus its a heck a lot easier to have excess sugar than to have excess vegies for most, unless you're a rabbit

You could overdose on many essential vitamins in much lower amounts than sugar. Does that make them evil as well.

You can have too much of anything.

Overdosing on sugar can create catastrophic consequences, more so than any other shit we stick in our mouths.
short of poisons of course which does not require an overdose.

Not everything is made the same - some things are worse for us than others - its finding a balance - 500 cals of steak isnt the same as 500 cals of ice cream - nor will they bring the same results.

Not true in many ways.

Plenty of things we put in our mouths can kill us if we put enough of it in there.

Poisons most definantly require an overdose to have adverse effects. Everything is a poison, what matters is the dose.

A position is only a position above a certain threshold level depending on the chemical in question.

And who has ever those two are the same.

Lets be honest eating too many veggies is going to course less issues than eating too much sugar - that is simple.

Again that's not an argument for sugar being bad. Everything has its threshold. That doesn't make sugar bad.

Going by your logic I could say that you are more likely to get issues eating too much meat than too much veggies therefore meat is poison. Evil evil meat.

What would be better for us, a bowl a day of broccoli, or sugar?
maybe a stupid question, but, refined sugar is not a required additive in the food we eat.

Sugar is not micronutrient dense, clearly. Once you have eaten foods that have enough various micronutrients you don't get bonus points for eating more. So cutting it out on the basis of micronutrient density is pretty dumb.

I did a banana eating challenge one time. 1kg in 2mins. I think this is ok though because it's "all natural". But then again fructose makes you fat so...
