Rubber Coated Olympic Weight Discs V Old School Non Coated

It seems most gyms nowadays are all kitted with the rubber coated Olympic plates so you don't get to hear the clatter of the plates tapping each other on each rep whilst Benching or Squatting!

What do you guys and girls prefer?
clatter or no clatter

If I was starting over would go rubber coated all the way, but since I have hundreds of KG's of old school plates, that's what I use/will be using.

Don't think the muscles know the difference...

Love the old school plates - the really skinny ones - make so much noise though - love it haha

rubber plates are shit, half the ones at my gym are cracked and broken through people being dickheads not to mention the dumbbells that are missing chunks....
