anyone have any Betting 'strategies they want to share?

not a betting man myself , while i do like to have punt every so often but it's a rare thing

anyway a bloke i know told me about greyhound stratergies to bet on the outside two boxes ,or if there is empty box one either side

then was the horses , to check on where the horse last raced , if the horse has been in the country tracks and making a start on the metro tracks to go for it as it is a sign of a sure thing

that being said , i don;t follow the form that closely , i do the old favorite

Always bet on the grey horse in non major races

Keno: each pub visit I bet the same numbers, same amount of games, same amount of $.

I look for any repeating numbers in the morning if I will be betting later in the day and I'll most likely work them into the mix later

Edited cause my maths was wrong - playing 2/3 of roulette wheel = 66% chance of winning for a 33% return. Pretty good odds, not accounting for the zero factor

In test cricket if the team batting first is the favorite but has a crap first innings it's often worth a flutter before the second team bats.

when in Vegas on roulette I put $10 on black and continuously double it until it wins(then start again), and keep doing that until I has some decent coin and then played the fun games

This!

Me and a few mates used to do this, starting with $2 as it can get expensive if you miss a few in a row.

If you have the bankroll/balls to keep going until you hit again you will win every time.

You're better off doing this with blackjack. Just double the stake if you lose.

Its called a martingale. Again wont work, maybe a few times in the short term but eventually u will lose it all. Every spin is just a 50/50 bet. Its why there are table limits, you max out your bet and get fucked

Yep. Doesn't work. Small chances of gains with massive potential losses.

The wheel cannot be beaten, this is fact

Now I am a little dense so please humour me, why is playing 2/3 of the table not a good idea. Seems like a reasonable chance of winning for an ok payout.

Am I missing something?

I don't really gamble at all cause the house ALWAYS wins, but that strikes me as good odds

Well, over the course of an evening the hits will start to evenly distribute around each sector of the wheel. So with those odds the best possible outcome is you will break even, aslong as it doesnt hit againts you enough times to go broke. On the flip side you can have a bit of a winning streak but over time it will distribute evenly. Now when you take it account that as part of that distribution the wheel has to hit 0, it means there is no possible way to come out ahead, you have to lose. That make sense?

it gets fucked well before you hit the table limit... when you're up to betting $160 (on the 6th spin) for $5 profit its retarded

i thought it was a useful system during uni days until 18 reds in a row on a table cleaned me out twice over  (there were a few other degenerates doing the same thing, their reaction was funny)

still ended slightly up overall, but not worth the stress

have made far more money playing poker at the casino even after taking into account the ridiculous rake

have had far more fun playing blackjack with work colleagues and flowing drinks

If youre in a tipping comp, go with the favourites on the TAB. Ive won the past 3 work tipping comps sticking with the TAB favourites (head to head)
