I'm sure over the years, some of you have been to a few concerts

me i never really went to just a single bands concert , but did goto big day out a few times
vans warp tour

kiss
acdc

oh the mavis's when they came to town
and a ska band which the name escapes me at the moment

saw a few guest big name dj's over time , but i was under the influence so can't remember their names either

Yeh i liked my SKA back in the late 90's too. The Porkers were my favourite band, along with Less than Jake, Mighty Bosstones, older No Doubt stuff & reel big fish had a couple of good albums..

I attended all the big days out from 95 to 2005, then I just felt old and they introduced the barriers after that girl got killed... The day Korn, Marilyn Manson & Hole played was probably the best for me.

Went and saw the Mark of Cain again this year, all time best band.
Best concert Ive seen was Rollins Band & Mark of Cain at the UNSW roundhouse. Brutal night.

OK I have been to the following that i can remember

AC\DC 1988, 1991, 1996, 2001, 2010

Iron Maiden 2011

Bruce Springsteen 2013

And some others i have seen but cant remember dates

Paul Kelly, Midnight Oil, Rodney Rude, Kevin Bloody Wilson, James Reyne, Pearl Jam, Dire Straits, Live, Living End, Bon Jovi

And probably more i have forgotten..

Over the years I've seen

Brian Ferry
Jon English
U2
David Bowie
Madonna
ACDC
Johnny Diesel
Black Sorrows
Elvis Costello
Elvis to the Max
Billy Joel
Tex Perkins
Cold Chisel
Black Eyed Peas

Too many to remember, stand outs that I remember include:

AC/DC
Dire Straits
Jimmy Barnes
Cold Chisel
Divinyls
Radiators
Rose Tattoo
Uncanny X Men
Bon Jovi
Poison
Bruce Springsteen
Johnny Diesel
Living End
Kiss
Midnight Oil
Swanee
Choir Boys
INXS

Plus heaps of others I can't think of at the moment:rolleyes:

On my want to see list is only really one...Metallica!

Kiss - many times
Alice Cooper - many times
Creed
Bee Gees
Status Quo
Robert Palmer
Live
Diesel

+ many more. So many Aussie bands to numerous to name.

oh saw psuedo echo the other year , me and a bloke from the radio station (that is also an 80's fan) went to a gig they had up moama , there was about 20 of us in total , it was awesome

So many

stand-outs though in no order for atmosphere and sound.

beach boys
The Stones
Mental as anything
The hoodoo-gurus
Midnight oil

And Pete Frampton

Way too many to mention. Probably see on average 8-10 bands a year for each of the last 15 years, plus I go to Soundwave each year.

Went to a few BDOs early in the piece but their lineups don't do a thing for me these days.

Best I have seen:
Faith No More reunion show a couple of years back.
Tool (seen em 5 times and they are phenomenal live).
Prince (the dude did about 6 encores. Played for close to 4 hours).
Dillinger Escape Plan for pure intensity.

The very first homebake (Mudbake!) in 1996 was my first festival... Awesome day!

Following Van's warped tour along the east coast in 1997-98 was great too. Pennywise, Frenzle, Blink182, Mighty Mighty bosstones.

1999 BDO with Hole, Marylyn Manson, Korn, Black Eyed Peas

2000 BDO with Red hot chilli peppers

Kiss and Motley Crew
Metallica

Yeah got no chance of remembering everything.

Not many festivals...no gay ones.

Went to the BDO that tallica headlined.
Gigantour.
Homebake.

Concerts:
Metallica 4 times
Megadeth 4 times
Slayer 4 times.
Anthrax
Butterfly effect probably 10 times.
Living end
Millenolin
Mastadon
Iron maiden twice.
Ac/dc
No fun at all (probably the best small show I've ever been to - met the guys, and my mate played the drums for suicide machine!!)
Billy joel!

Millions of others....

Tim.

Farrrrk I forgot some

Elton John
Billy Joel
Don McLean
America
Joan Jett
There's probs more too

I went to Kylie Minogues last 2 concerts and the Foo fighters in Dec 2011. Fooies were the best concert yet. Bon Jovi at eastern creek was second best. It hailed when Jimmy Barnes was above to come on as support act. Keanu Reeves band Dogstar was the other support act.

In no particular order:

Amorphis
Evergrey
System of a Down x2
Dream Theater x2
Living End
Queens of the Stone Age

Do big name DJs count? Armin et. al.

Later this month ive got Moonsorrow.

Seriously jealous. Haven't seen DT yet. The new album is off chops so they better tour on this one!

They are amazing live (from a technical standpoint), you would swear they were playing a studio recording most of the time.

Oh, download festival in the UK with Faith no more, korn, Slipknot, dragon force, def leopard, and prodigy was a great gig!
