Have any of you had any issues with standing on sharp stuff?

Barefoot running is all the craze at the moment, like most things it is overblown how beneficial it actually is. I went and saw a pediatrist about my knee problems and he said bare foot running can be good for some but if you already have issues and jump into barefoot running hoping it will fix them it will quite often make the problems you have much worse instead of fixing them.

if you jump straight into barefoot running you are going to mess yourself up. you need to first scale it back by using minimalist running shoes (nike free runs are probably the most well known at the moment).

A lot of people complain that Free Runs are not comfortable to run in and they give them bad reviews.. but these people don't understand what the shoes actual function and purpose is.
