Dip / Chin-up belt

Need to start adding weight to my chins. Is it worth getting a belt specifically or is it better to simply hang weight off a normal belt?

What do you do?

I bought some bunnings rope and just looped it through the weights.

A dip belt would be more convenient of course.... I reckon you'd break a normal belt.

I have the 1 from Rogue Australia. Its a bit top end in price but was worth the money & will never wear out, very strong. It would be the best dip belt I have ever seen. I only ever used some rope in the past as already mentioned & this works well until u start adding a lot of weight. ROGUE DIP BELT- BLACK - Rogue Fitness Australia

Thanks, this might be the go

I've given a couple away in my time, the leather feels real good now, I really love my dip belt, shop around, I reckon you could pick one up for $25 if you're patient.

Anything over 30 kg starts to strain the original chain

This is mine;
