Objectively I agree with everything said in the video before shit kicks off

Is CNS exhaustion real?

Just like overtraining can be, it's just very rare and the excuse is more common?

Yes it is "real"
Like any other adaptive process, your adrenal glands will shut down to hypertrophy so you can deal with bigger stresses. But this doesn't mean you shouldn't lift while this is happening, quite the opposite. I tried my hardest to overtrain and get my adrenals to shut down but just ended up with upper back cramping

Another excuse I hate is cortisol or whatever increases after an hour therefore always keep your workouts short.... Most strong people I've met all work out for ages.

Yeah... wouldn't want to increase a hormone responsible for initiating an adaptive response

And, who the fuck is telling us we are overtraining?

I hear it all the time. From people saying they hear it all the time.

Lol...

Guy in gym last week telling me it was week 13 next week so he was having his mandatory 1 week break to allow his body to grow...

Was quite adamant that this was a neccesity...

That's funny.
There are more experts out there than cut lunches.
Everyone knows how to train properly.

Goosey the amount of volume you use no-one doubts that you're not overtraining ;P

Faark.. so how can you genuinely tell if your CNS is shot, you are overtraining, or your cortisol levels are through the roof?
