I did 3 comps after fasting/water loading to make weight (all 2 hour weigh ins), at States i decided to just compete at full weight, and it made a huge difference, i felt so much better.
I think you will be hard pressed to find many people who compete fasted.
Also i don't buy into the whole stronger in the morning stuff, i get up at 3.15am and drive to PTC Brisbane and often find i am stronger at 5am than i am at 5pm.
