The Russian was a freak. Built like a gorilla and made the lift look easy.
I'm looking forward to the 105kg class, not sure but hopefully Klokov and the other Russian are lifting. Waited the whole Olympics to watch them lift against each other and they both pulled out.

Yeah that was the speculation around the Olympics, not sure what has come of it since then. Do you know if he is lifting in the European championships or is he finished now.

Klokov won't be in the Olympics he is focusing on the World Games and Champion of Russia because it means more to him.
I believe him as well, his rivalry with Akkaev is hilarious, they have had fistfights in the gym on several occasions and it doesn't surprise me at all that when one pulled out from the Olympics the other did- they were there for one reason and that was to beat the other
