Choline/Inositol - How Much To Take?

Hi,
It's been forever since my last post! Since then I've lost 14 kilos & no longer take blood pressure meds :)
I'm not a full on body builder but the advice I get from this forum has been invaluable. I can now do man push ups, which is huge for me because I've had the tips of both my collar bones removed.

I have a question about choline/inositol.
I've started taking this. They're in powder form & in 2 separate containers. I take 1/2 teaspoon of each once a day in the morning. It equates to about 1000mg of each.

Is this enough & do I need to take it before a workout?
It's supposed to be great for fat loss & lowering cholesterol.

Any thoughts?
 
i take choline as a nootropic/noot support supplement and for me it's a delicate balance - not enough and i get headaches but too much all at the same time causes me to get brain fog. too much is a single hit of 500mg and some dietary sources (2 or 3 eggs) all at the same time. 100mg/day is ok (which is about 1 egg worth). yesterday i had 300mg in powder form and 4 eggs spaced through the day and that was also fine.
