What annoys you most about the fitness industry?

iLift
For me, its the mark up in price on most things because its "fitness related".
And those stupid Ab Circle Pro Like machines advertised on TV that will give you solid Abs!!

People writing articles on how to train who have no idea. Especially the ones which link studies that prove one thing, but the article goes on to make 10 semi-related conclusions based on the study (which the study never proved).

All the bullshit, I guess. It's really hard to find people who know what they're talking about... I believe with Mike Tuscherer's book I've found one though. Really hard to find good people in bodybuilding though, Mike is more powerlifting.

Also, bodybuilding vs powerlifting. They have a lot to learn from each other, and at the top it's recognised already.

All the bodybuilding / training advice stuff that only really works if you're injecting T or an array of compounds too.

But ppl actually buy this shit, or else these clowns won't even be in business.
Its a spinout to realise how lazy ppl are, who would do anything but drag their fatass to some good honest exercise!

Why drag your arse to a gym when you can sit on the ab swing in front of the television and watch more infomercials? 6 mins a day ffs!;)

Yeah, you're right. These are the same ppl who, if they were to go to a gym, would plonk themselves in front of a bike pedalling 30rpm whilst flicking thru a New Idea.

Had a bloke come to the footy club who had worked with afl clubs before. He wrote up a weights program for us with a list of upper and lower body exercise to chose from.

The upper exercises were all bench or push-up variations with some curls thrown in. The lower was a mix of leg curls and extension type exercises.

He looked like he has never touched a weight in his life.
