Footy Peptide scandal closing down sites

Has anyone noticed that after the Footy peptide scandal that websites have been shutting up shop?

I would have thought this would be great advertising and that the websites would be busier than ever.

Just my thought...

Because what they were doing wasn't actually legal.

Probably not the advertising they wanted.

how long you think it will last before they are back up and running again. most probably under a different name.

where does this leave us? rumaging out the back of gyms or in gym carparks instead of the safety behind a computer screen.

Now that the TGA is onto them it's probably gonna be tuff to get back running again.

If you want to use them find a drug dealer like you would with any other illegal drugs.

just to clarify, the recent tga change made them prescription only.

Obviously some sites are interested in dealing prescription drugs and some arent.

Have you thought about lifting weights without drugs

I've not seen any sites close down
One has changed it's domain name from .com.au
You're not trading within Australia if you do not have a .au domain name. The Australian government holds no jurisdiction over .com TLD sites, only .au

There is also only one peptide that has been legislated against. You can't blanket ban all peptides - only ones that have been proven to be growth hormone releasing peptides. Thankfully, many don't have legitimate studies done on them. Synthetic IGF for example holds no evidence whatsoever that it has physiological effects on the body. Studies done on animals are also not enough to legislate. The Government is actually very reluctant to ban things that are not killing people due to the amount of research that would have to go into it first. DMAA killed a kid so it was easy to ban. 4-mmc killed a kid so it was banned. Steroids have major health risks. HGH frag will never kill anyone, there is no evidence on humans that links it to increased GH levels in the body.

The peptide industry is here to stay, it's incredibly profitable- especially in Australia and the government has better things to do once this scandal is blown over like banning things that people actually use and are of risk to the human body

"The popular Australian peptide site" is still up and running. People shit themselves because it goes in maintenance for all of 20 minutes but it is very clear that it is business as usual

Your a basket of knowledge ain't you!

I doubt they would close down, as far as I'm aware not all peptides are banned and Melanotan one of the biggest sellers is still being sold

Guy seems like an absolute bro and it's unlikely that anything further will happen. I work in the medical industry and can't cite this at all for obvious reasons but the anti-aging clinics are putting a fair bit of pressure on the government to not legislate as they earn a lot of money consulting for people to then go out and buy these.

And if the same industry can get yohimbe banned for it being half as good as viagra, you can bet your cotton socks these won't be banned any time soon. Obviously people don't like paying for peptides through their insurance!
