Was reading an interview with Jay Cutler were he said he stopped doing squats for years because his legs got too big for his upper body. Not sure if that is true or not, if it is seems some bodybuilders use squats.

Obviously leg press, hack squats, leg extensions can all build legs but so do squats.
 
No. There are many other exercises that elicit the same results.

I've noted lately in the fitness mags a trend of moving away from heavy squats to other exercises that place less strain on the spine. It seems heavy squats are being targeted due to the increased number of back injuries occurring, of which I totally agree and understand, regardless of form.
 
yeah thread went off track a bit but was still interesting.Didnt know that retard wingman actually competed.good for him.went up a few levels on the evolutionary scale in my eyes.
