Brawn series one

Yep I agree, the first Beyond Brawn was so comprehensive it covered every aspect of weight training (nutrition to a lesser extent though), that any further books would not really be able to add a hell of a lot more.

He did a second one that included a complete program for newbs, laid out over several months, but I wasn't a fan of his suggested program (too many exercises and sets in a single workout). Most other aspects of his material I generally love.

He was a crazy bastard 200x20 fucked his back, it's what influenced his writing style

Rare and only photos of Stuart

Just finished reading it.

This book is basically a revival and revamp of Peary Raders 20 repitition squat program which is good!

The book is big, coffee table book size, well written typical Stuart wordy but nicely formatted and easy to follow for a beginner.

Good book for a seasoned lifter wanting to learn an old course which was popular in the sixties.
