Bench Polkov

SIR BENCHALOT
Here are some good tutorial vids for wrapping your wrists for heavy bench.

I generally use teh second method. I have done cast wrap before, but you need to do it, smash out the set then let it out immediately. That shit can cut circulation real quick!

Put some serious weight on my bench though.

Got wraps on the weekend. Felt quite weird for my first session using them, but my wrists had no discomfort/pain at all after each set. Looking forward to when it feels normal using them.

Where does it say in the rules that hands need blood?

You know you've wrapped them tight enough because when you release the velcro it makes a whipping sounds as it flies off =)

I did a video on Knee Wraps today if anyone is interested :)

How do you guys wrap your wrists for squats?

for squat, dont do what they did on bench when they go up the hand, i normally just cover the joint with the top of the wrap because you still need wrist mobility to get the bar into a comfortable position when squatting low bar. (i cant comment on high bar as i didnt use wraps when i used to squat high bar)

ill post a pic, or if you want i can always take a vid

Cheers allan, yeah that's how I wrap them for squats.

Ben - stretch more! What happens when you try to squat lowbar?
