its useless if you dont have grip issues.

lucky for me i dont, my grip if great, has never failed... so far lol

If you go back to when I was doing them, I was having grip problems. I did them for about 4-5 weeks and haven't had problems with grip since.
I tend to hold my deadlifts at the end of the lifts for a count and this does a similar job.
 
0ni a.k.a Alex should have his/her own forum that only he/she is on and then he/she can do whatever he/she wants.

Grip strength is important just like any other strength. If grip is holding back your lifts, it should be trained whether you're a beginner or elite athlete.
