Barbell T-Bar Row

Do you guys use this exercise for back?

or do you prefer barbell rows? or for that matter 1 handed dumbbell rows?

which exercise would you expect to get more gains from in terms or overall size and strength?

I miss doing the old school t-bar barbell rows so im going to add them into my workouts. I think these are a very over looked exercise for building size and strength. Do you agree?

cheers,

I like T-Bar rows, chest-supported rows and cable rows. Regular barbell rows, on the other hand, seem to burn out my support muscles before the target muscles have even done enough to register on an EMG.

I do prefer barbell row and db row but t-bar rows are still a great exercise...id be doing all of them...

Yep T-bar are bent over dumbbell rows are some of my favourites. Actually, dumbbell rows are a prick. I'm exhausted after my 4th set usually.

I have been hitting the Pendlays and 1 arm DB rows, the Pendlays really smash the traps and lats for me, and I love the DB rows, a bit heavier with the slightest bit of cheating works well too
If there was tbar eqiupment in my gym I'd give them a go..

There is..

Use the close grip pull attachment , looks like a V ..

Put a 7ft Oly barbell in the corner.. T-Bar Rows, eat your heart out.

Thats exactly how I do em, jam one end i the corner of my rack and throw a sandbag over it to stop it moving around.
