Guys due to my lower back discomfort and past injuries, I have been advised
To swap my deadlift with a trap bar dead and back squats to front squats.

What is Everyones thoughts on this advice?

Lower back injury is nothing serious

There is still loading on the spine.

What's the issue?
Rather than trying to exercise around it you should address the problem.

Which disc is herniated? I know that front squat still puts a lot of strain on the ones that are commonly herniated and that the safety squat bar is a better choice if you have one
