Grippy's 2012 Body Transformation

Do you mind telling me what dose you're on at the moment for solone? I've been taking it for a long time and will have to continue to do so but was never told about possible bloating or anything like that other then getting 'moon face'

Not on any and haven't been since couple of day after new years. Had a fairly high dose as I had a chest infection and my breathing was really messed up. I think I started on 50mg per day or something for a week then tapering, made me stack on the weight fast, felt sluggish and weak and lost all interest in getting fresh with the Mrs, which is waaay out of character for me, I could be hooked up to life support and still go for some jig jig. I asked the doc at the asthma place just the other week about the sides I experienced and he said its common.
I have had it before but not such a high dose and never really noticed any sides.
What are you on it for mate?
 
Im on it for eczema and have been for maybe 3-4 years. It seems to be getting worse as well. I take 50mg a day for 3 days then go down to 25mg for 3 days then im meant to get "relief" for 1-2weeks which is bullshit though because after day 3 to 6 it's borderline un bearable. I've tried injections and some other meds but nothing seems to do a whole lot, solone doesn't either but it's better then nothing and ill take my double chin and fat face i've got from it so i don't have to deal with the eczema.
 
I feel your pain mate. I had exzema really bad for the majority of my life until it got totally out of control when I was about 16, I was covered constantly and always sick. It gradually got worse and my doc tried all sorts of pills and potions along with sending me to specialists and shit. She ended up sending me to get allergy tested and it turns out I am allergic to bakers yeast, hops, wheat.I have avoided those foods since and am free from the rash, apart from a bit I get from the heat. Just telling my story mate, its worth getting checked, my son is the same as too, his flared up and it turned out to be something in his baby formula when he was little.
 
Yeah, thats next on the agenda at the end of the month. Hopefully they find something else that l can't have and it stays down a bit. It's just annoying because in summer l sometimes miss workouts due to my skin being screwed over so much. Can't win 'em all though.

Calories down still, need to find a way to squeeze in some extra protein filled snacks. Might have to start making my own bars again, yumm!!!

Racking squats was much sturdier today though thanks to the addition of a Powertec rack courtesy of Cunnif.
Cut it short due to just feeling flat and shit, have a headache, a tooth killing me and low on energy today for some reason.

Missed out on last session last week, did some swings with a 20kg plate and some other stuff on Thursday but have hardly been eating and felt like spewing from some bad toothaches. Dentist has given me some stuff to get rid of infection but I have to have 2 wisdom teeth ripped out ASAP, yipee!!

Started 5 x 5 from the start today as program has finished. After not eating right for a few days I bloody felt it today with such light weight.

So Ive been a big pussy with my teeth, they have been hurting like a bitch, missed deads Wednesday as they were severe and had a mercy trip to dentist for some temp fillings. All 4 have to come out via surgery, yippee!
Snuck a quick dead workout in today working from week 1 of 5 x 5 again.
Traded mil press for dips, keep pulling a neck muscle doing OH Press so will give it a miss for a while, dips feel great with dip bars on the Powertec rack, much better than my old rack having to compete with 2 barbells sliding on the safetys.

Lunchtime squats and bench, ran short on time so will have to do rows later or tomorrow. This style of 5 x 5 seems tough on bench after doing squats each session, even though squats were fairly light today I still felt it. I might try benching first and see how it goes.

Haven't had a crack at a 1RM for ages now, so after first 2 sets of 5 x 5 of deads I thought fuck it, loaded up the bar with 220 and nailed it!!! Came up easier than I thought, although I did do a little spew in my mouth while pulling. Bloody happy with this, have wanted this for a while now, was chuffed so walked into kitchen, told Mrs and kids who didn't really care or have any idea what I was going on about, meh.
