Kind of left field training idea

So I'd like to do some morning training as opposed to afternoon training as often I'm too buggered after work to bother. Problem is I get up at 5:30 already and there's no way I'm getting up at 4:00 for a full training session so what I'm thinking is getting up a bit earlier and doing one lift each morning for half an hour and then if I'm not stuffed after work I'll do some lifting then as well at least this way if I dont train after work I will have at least squatted or benched in the morning.

A bit earlier than 4am.

Nothing terribly wrong with your idea. Fit your.training in where you can if it suits your life better. I did Pullups at 1.30 today, dips at 6.00 and my accessory 1 Arm lat pulldowns at 7.30 to fit my training in. It won't kill you it is just not optimal nor conventional.

Lol I get up at 4 am to get ready for work I work my ass off till 5 sometimes 6pm but I still go to the gym it's hard but live ain't ment to be easy . I've just started taking anadraulic state for an energy kick at the gym it seems to be doing the trick.

Not really an answer to your question, but if you're having trouble fitting in training during the week, if you get weekends off work, can you do the majority of your workouts on those 2 days?

I work Saturday's and often Sundays and when I don't work them I like to rest up a bit. I think I have it figured though I might start up PPP again and do the main lifts each morning then do the accessories at night time or the following day

And up my calories again I think trying to cut for summer has left me a bit demotivated on low calories

I think my main issue with doing something like this is that you double your warmup/cool down time as well. So if you spend 15mins warming up & 10mins cooling down you will have to do this twice a day instead of once. If you can still fit it into the schedule then go for it.

My warm ups are generally just some light sets of each exercise I'm about to do and I dont really warm down except for a bit of foam rolling

Warm up using the exercises like you stated and screw the cooldown. Cooldown equals getting ready for work after the shower or making your dinner after the last training session. You won't increase your chance of injury or not recovery better.

+1

Certainly not an ideal setup you have got going there, but it is still better to train suboptimally then to not train at all.

Good work keeping it up
