Beer is Good For Your Bones

A recent study published last year from the University of California suggests that drinking beer is actually good for your health, especially for your bones. Because of its high silion content (a nutrient that helps strengthen bones), moderate beer drinking may prevent osteoperosis and other diseases. The dietary silicon content of beer has never been thoroughly evaluated until just recently. The results showed that beer is indeed a signifcant source of bone-building silicon. Although beer might be good for your bones, not all of them are rich in silicon. Darker beers, for example, are low in silicon content compared to lighter beers. These light-colored beers that contain high levels of malted barley and hops are the better choice.

It seams they can find the good in anything that we all know is not good for you but popular.
