Don't know if anyone else notices this but I always seem to have less muscle tone when I wake up/during the morning, after a couple of hours its where it normally is.

anyone else notice this or know why?

No such thing as muscle tone

tonus
[tō′nəs] Etymology: Gk, tonos, stretching

1 also called muscle tone. The normal state of balanced tension in the body tissues, especially the muscles. Partial contraction or alternate contraction and relaxation of neighboring fibers of a group of muscles hold the organ or the part of the body in a neutral functional position without fatigue. Tonus is essential for many normal body functions, such as holding the spine erect, the eyes open, and the jaw closed.
2 also called tone. the state of the body tissues being strong and fit.

I know what you mean.

All your blood is in your organs, your body is busy resting and restoring.

Add some food and get the blood flowing and your look normal.

I typically look flatter upon waking, I thought is was glycogen depletion from the fasted state while sleeping.

oh okay then, brb going to tone my body

People use this word to describe a firm physique because they dont know what they are talking about...

Women say tone and they tink of not jiggling.. I.e losing fat. You can lose muscle tone, and you can tone a muscle however i question what the point is when its covered in fat and is so small you cant even notice it.
