Bench technique revisited

Max has altered his grip.

Because of the extended range of flexibility in his wrists through Olympic lifting, his wrist bends far too much.

He is now wearing wrist wraps when he benches and is working on widening his grip as well.

I had a very good powerlifter that really took a shine to Max come over from a distance and tell us Max was leaving kilos on the platform due to his wrists.

There are plenty of kilos to gain in his bench, he still puts more overhead than he benches.

we are slowly working out on his grip width, hoping to have it on the rings by his next comp, his wrists in a much better position as well with the wraps.

I honestly believe straight line Oli.

When I was younger, it was always the "S" they were going on about.

Shortest distance in my opinion. Maybe big Steve who has the biggest bench on here can help
