Hi all,

Ive noticed that when I grip BB and DB for the various presses and lifts i do i only seem to be using part of my hand for the majority of the lift. So from my pinky finger to my rude finger i get calluses but get none on my pointer finger or thumb. So when I push or pull it seems those two fingers are just sort of holding it in place a little bit while all the weight is on the other part of my hand. This seems to bend my wrist to the side a bit. Is this bad? and if so does any one know of a way to correct this? Im pretty sure its not because im lifting to heavy as the wrest of my form is pretty good and it seems to happen no matter how light the weight is.

Thanks for any help.

Don't worry about it.

Is your grip improving?
Your thumb and pointer are the primary gripping digits.

Looking at my hand now, I have calluses on:
plam under pinky, ring and middle finger.
On the first knucle of my pointer finger. Both hands.

Keep in mind, Ive only been benching though.....

I think you'll be fine champ :)
