Pure/Unflavoured Protien Powders, what do they taste like?

I have been buying unflavoured from our sponsor here and have learned to tolerate WPC on it's own, how much sugar/cals does the flavoring add?

Not much. A tablespoon of cacao powder is 20 cals. Stevia has none

I love the stuff, just ends up tasting like thicker milk.

Works out soo much cheaper, and in my opinion is definately worth it.

You can always experiment with your own flavourings as well, that way at least you know exaxtly what is in it.

Some points about unflavoured proteins.

Less than 5% of our customers buy it, and most that do, often go back to flavoured protein. If you like "sweet" it is unlikely you will enjoy unflavoured proteins.

It should be said though, if you find unflavoured proteins far too strong and don't care for any kind of artificial taste, it may be good change.

WPC has quite a distinct taste, it is reasonably sour with somewhat of a bitter after taste. I consider it borderline unpleasent, but not too bad.

WPI is very different. A good WPI should taste very neutral with only a hint of a sour taste. The fact WPI mixes more finely is a benefit too as at time the texture impacts on the taste.

There is a large reason why flavoured proteins are so popular especially for those who have it many times a day, if you can handle it, it is the purest and most value for money alternative.

I just got my 20KG unflavoured from bulk nutrients.

I actually don't mind the flavour! If I want a change all I need to do is throw in some fruit, kiwis, strawberrys banana or cocoa, just be creative.

From our experience at No Bull Supplements, about 15% of our sales were for unflavoured protein. In a few months, the same customers would be buying flavoured protein and so we decided to sell all our protein with Stevia flavouring.

BTW, disappointing Origin result!
