Another poor effort so far from Panthers.
Gus must be pulling his hair out.

Playing the lowly out of contention Titans. Poor defence, drop balls, penalties.

If they were playing Rabbits, Roosters or Storm they’d be getting flogged by now.

They may still win but it’s not finals winning form.

Next coach please.
 
Disgraceful.

Gus should be made to front up at press conference not Ciraldo.

He needs to explain why a club with the biggest junior base and loads of money cannot perform.

Which is generally true for our lifetimes except the Gus, Geyer, Filter, Alexander, Cartwright era, Why?

You'd think having Gus there wouldn't appeal to the Bennett's, Bellamys or Tim Sheens etc so attracting a big name Coach is going to be hard. Harder now this has blown up again.

What does Gus actually do as Director of Coaching? Griffin said place was a mess when he took over.

Phil Rothfield of the Daily Telegraph seems to think Gus was the problem, not Griffin

That being said, Rothfield thinks Gus has the best Footy brain of anyone he's spoken to in 40 years of Reporting.
 
I agree Gus is part of the problem.
He wants a puppet coach.
That said Griffins record at The Broncos with half an Origin team was nit good.

The Panthers need a Bellamy or Bennet or even Maguire to things the mess up without Gus’s meddling. That ain’t gonna happen, is it?
 
Did Bellamy extend his contract at the Storm. If not, Bellamy, Bennett, McQuire are all available lol.

Bellamy extended and Bennett has one more year.
Maguire is the Kiwi coach but I believe he has a get out clause if an NRL head coaching job becomes available.

Will he be willing to be a puppet though? [emoji15]
 
Talk up here is that Bennett is gone from the Broncos. But he hasn't been the same Coach since he left St George.

Doubt Bennett would ge to Penrith.
 
I doubt it as well.

The Titans would’ve been good for Bennet.
He could’ve done some good things there and still been close to home.
