I've been working out for quite sometime now and have found that my left pectoral muscle cant handle as much as the right one. Is there anything that i can do to help balance them out?

i say use a set of dumbbells. reason being is that when you use a barbell for your exercises, the weight is evenly distributed throughout the bar making the stronger muscle help out. Where as If you use a dumbbells the muscles on both arms work independant of each other, the stronger muscles can't help out the weaker so the weaker has no choice but to develop.

You need to be consistent with it
