lol, now they want to play Wade as a specialist batsman.... another bloke with an average of mid 30's.

I have loved Aussie cricket since watching Rodney Hogg bowl to the Poms in 1979. I am finding it difficult to form an attachment to any of our current players....
 
Yeah I am not holding my breathe...... ashes could be gone this test, I think the poms only hve to draw this one to retain the ashes until they tour down here for the summer, so an Aussie win is the only hope...
 
I'm not interested in the result anymore, just a real competitive side, and signs of improvement. I'm backing Rogers to return to county form and make a century
 
As mentioned previously, Australian cricket does nothing for me these days. Its hard to get excited when you know whats going to happen, they need to put more emphasis on development rather than just relying on 1 or maybe 2 players to hold the team up.
 
I've got some $ on Watson getting highest score in first innings. If he gets out LBW I get money back
 
3/303 at the end the day isn't a bad result, just have to play well the other 4 days and get a win instead of a draw, at least now the bowlers should have a decent total to defend and attack for wickets....
