When I squat light, the bar sits on my neck a bit because my shoulders aren't flexible enough to let it down. Once I get the weight up a bit it's enough to force the bar down and back. I used to hate not having a pad until I realized that all I needed to do was go heavier.

    BN No3X review

Taste - 10/10 Focus - 8/10 Pump - ?/10 Energy spike - 8/10 By far the best tasting pre-workout drink I've ever had. It seems to be effective almost immediately, I get a bit of a caffeine "shiver" within seconds of drinking it. Doesn't give the "itchy woolen sweater" feeling that others often...

More people are using steroids, and they're unaware of dangers

So let me get this right... The article states that Steroid users are unlikely to be at risk of blood borne diseases because they are less likely to share needles and more likely to follow safe injection protocols and get blood tests more frequently.. But somehow the author draws the...

Skipping breakfast may actually be good for you

I know the key for weight loss. There are two options, but I've only experienced one myself. First option: Dysentery I got sick from some water overseas. Lost 10kg in 8 days. Second option (long term weight loss): Amputation Got a limb you don't use much or don't like? Why not cut it off...

Ausbb Ausbb 90 Day Transformation Challenge #2

Bodyweight up, size up, but that's not really what I'm going for... Just the harder I work the more I eat. I'm moving from a purely strength based routine to something a slightly higher tempo with more reps and trying to put on some size and lose some fat or at least give the impression of both...

Ausbb Ausbb 90 Day Transformation Challenge #2

So can we just post pics at the end then? I'm more keen on that idea. I've got my start pics and they're not pretty, so would be happy to just hold onto them and then show them with progress/end pics later. ..

    any whisky drinkers?

I reckon Highland malts have the most "rounded" flavour, but if someone can't tell the difference between an Islay and a Speyside they might as well be drinking Johnny Walker or some other rubbish. My regular drinks (the ones I always have in the cupboard) are Glenfarclas 8 and Glenrothes 12...

    Lifting Chalk.

I just got mine from eBay. Thought it was a block, but it was crushed/powder.. Bit dodgy getting a bag of white powder shipped to work, but it got through without me getting called into HR.

Nah, we save that for squats. It's only a small dog, so you know you're low enough when the dog can lick the peanut butter butter off your nuts.

Training partner could have had a serious injury last night. During bench press the dog comes into the garage and jumps up onto his lap. I wasn't spotting at the time because it was just a warmup weight. So it was hilarious, but could have been a disaster.

Has your training changed as you get older?

Working harder than ever. First time I've ever been able to stay consistent, now that I'm not playing other sports and getting injured.

How Did Your Last Workout Go?

Best workout in a while.. Upped the weight for a lot of the exercises and managed to get prescribed reps and sets out. Bench still improving, albeit very slowly. Squats feeling comfortable again. Slept like shit last night though.

    Test Booster Res100

Also, for the interest of people here I'll be continuing to exercise at the same intensity and frequency, I am a relative novice, so I expect my lifts to keep increasing steadily or even slow down in the near future. I will not change my eating habits or supplementation (for the last three...

    Test Booster Res100

I don't know, it just sounds like an interesting product. I reckon it's worth a try. At 31 years old I figure my testosterone is in the middle of a big downward slope. Even if it doesn't help with muscle, I guess it could be good for me in other ways. I'll keep an open mind and see if I notice...
