Are these still legal in Australia, or are they like steroids??

Found some on the net, while I was on the Gold Coast, contacted the guy, and he refused to give me his address, but wanted to meet at the back of a Hungry Jack in the south of Brisbane.

I went there at the designated time, this big guy (looked like a power lifter) approached my car and handed me a paper bag with three bottles of 250 liver tablets, I inspected the merchandise and gave him the cash, we shook hands and both left.

We were getting some dodgy looks from some people, I would imagine this is how a drug deal would go down. Would not be surprised if someone called the police.

Well I am back in the gold coast with three large bottles of dessicated liver. :)

Will start taking them soon, may be next month:cool:

Yeah they are legal here. Dr Eric Serrano swears by liver tabs as well as eating cooked liver. Plenty of companies still make them including Universal
Nutrition.

Are you seriously going to take tablets you got from a bloke at the back of a hungry jacks. Fucking seriously? Lol.

South of Brisbane/Gold Coast - just an everyday occurrence in that neck of the woods.

But for Liver tabs????

Haha, the area looked dodgy to me.

LOL.
Were they labeled and sealed at least?

Yep, brand new sealed bottles made by Universal Nutrition.

That's what the ones I bough are, universal nutrition. Only ones I could find.

Of course, isn't that how most blokes win body building and power lifting comps. :p

$30 for 250 tablets which is about 1-2 months supply depending on how you take them. Cheaper than any other source I could find.

Personally I believe these will have more benefit than any other supplement on the market.

Will be using them during my upcoming cut, will be maxing to dosage out so will only last me a month per bottle.

It's food, and probably one of the most nutritionally dense foods in the world.

It's one of the original old school supplements.

Pretty much contains everything the body needs to grow muscle and for general health and well being, plenty of bcaa's aminos, vitamins and minerals etc

Been used for a long time by a lot of people.

Too much for me to bother typing. Google is your friend. :)

Exactly its a food. I have googled it and there is nothing special to say for it apart from being a very expensive protein supplement with a few vitamins and minerals. Nothing you can't get from other foods. Don't get your hopes up for steroid like benefits that people no doubt claim. Anyway, your cash, good luck with it.

Yep I look at it as food, packed with what I need.

Doubt there will be steroid like effects.

But happy to pay $1 per day for a few months while cutting, I don't drink bottled water, alcohol or soft drinks apart from the odd occasion. So I am saving plenty there. I know a lot of people who spend $6-10 per day on bottled water, I get mine for free out of the tap. So $30 for a months worths of supplements is nothing to worry about for me.

The studies they reference are done in the 1930s, 40s and 50s and are rat studies. Where are any recent follow up studies.

Forgive me if I don't get too excited.

If something worked in the 1930's, 1940's and 1950's I am pretty sure it will still work in 2013.

The wheel was invented around the fourth millennium BC, yet it still seems to work today.

The problem with a lot of supplements these days is that they are trying to reinvent the wheel.

Saying it worked then on humans is a big stretch. A couple of rat studies from 70 years ago doesn't mean it worked then or now.

It's essentially meat in pill form. Expensive protein.

Have you read up about Vince Gironda? He was a massive fan of those liver tablets.

Yep and he was a bodybuilder not a scientist or doctor. He also never referenced any of his claims.

He also claimed eating dozens of fertilized eggs a day was equivalent to dbol.
