    Show us your Home Gym

I can build your house too, licensed carpentor. Does it matter that I'm blind now? LOL Also 2700 is a standard height for ceilings so ask for a price for that, most building measures go up in 300's.

    Adjustable dumbells

Ironmaster quicklock dumbbells can go up to 165lb but would cost a shit load and be pretty big I'd say. I have a pair of York 5kg plates that'd be about 10mm thick so you'd be able to fit a lot of them on a dumbbell handle.

    Cheapest gym flooring

Thanks mate, I have been there and checked out their different tiles and the gym tiles don't seem to be soft. Well they better not be as I've just ordered a shed full! They have a large range of different tiles for different applications with different hardness.

Why do people use 20's over 25's?

I also like the increments you can go up in with the 20kg plates, 50kg is a bit of a jump.

    Micro / fractional plates

York also do 0.5 plates and Ironmind have fractional plates.

    Cheapest gym flooring

My platform uses the design from Ironmind, they're found here: http://www.ironmind.com/ironmind/opencms/Main/homesweathome6.html I'm going to add 25mm rubber to each side making it 40mm of rubber, just because I can. And oh yeah, if you glue everything together it's a bitch to pick up and move...

I was about to start a thread about the place I'm getting my rubber flooring from, full commercial and cheaper than the usual places. Plus it's 25mm thick instead of 10-15. here's the link: Retail Rubber Sales Enquiries Fairmont Polymers for reference there's a sale on at the moment, 1mby1m...

    Bumper plates

Also for those with bumpers, how durable are they? I'm hesitant to go totally bumpers as I'm pretty sure they wouldn't last as long as steel. :)
