    Sheiko and Conventional Deadlifts

Cheers brother! That sounds interesting to start conv and move to sumo. Could work well. The idea of this cycle is 16 weeks 8 or 10 raw then move to the suits a few weeks before skills evaluation and the comp cycle suited ready for the suited competition. I think the raw work is where its at...

    Sheiko and Conventional Deadlifts

Well i completed the session last night. I hadnt really done any conv deadlifting for years but i stuck with the program. Was very hard off the floor but lockout was super strong. Unusual. Was a bit of a battle but felt good. Today im sore where the glutes tie into the back and upper...

    Peaking

The russian programs i have been following have a definate peaking cycle at the end and they are magic. Works amazingly. Throughtout the 4 week cycles u get beaten down pretty bad to the extent that you would fail an 90% lift through pure fatigue. Then for the peaking cycle this volume drops...

    Sheiko and Conventional Deadlifts

Thanks for the feedback. In relation to the back i was thinking more lower back as conventional seems to beat me up there. Id be happy to smash my upper back as im all legs. Thats why i think sumo suits me ok and ive worked hard on technique to whip it up off the floor rather than muscle it...

Always did sumo which i converted too at the beginning of this training style. Considering swapping to conventional but wondering if the volume...

    PA raw Nationals - Melbourne

Thats such a testament to both you and the sheiko style programming SP. Magic. After reading this i realised im the same. Obviously no where near your weight numbers and admittedly lots of reds for technicalitlies but 2 years ago you wisely introduced me to Dave and sheiko and i wrote to him...

    Injuries

I havent posted on here before but read this thread to begin with interest and to end with a chuckle. Firstly, is there any such thing as this "100% good form"?? Wouldnt u say that the best of the best (certainly not me) would always be searching for ways to be better. Records are broken over...
