New to the game

First time taking this gym lifestyle seriously, bought a bunch a products and keen to log the crap out of my results. But before i started (waiting for this final week of uni to finish), was wondering if there will be any trials of any sort starting? reason why i ask, dont want to start mine incase it may distrupt any potential trials.

cheers buddy, well im getting excited on starting this new routine and stack im preparing for next week (last major uni work due fri). ill post up my logs and details of the stack and progress.

I also remember seeing some where that SteveP also takes test boosters, so fat intake should be kept on the high side, to get the benefit out of those boosters if in fact there are any befits to be had, most benefits would probably relate to the fat intake rather than the test booster.

I gave the test booster a go earlier this year to see if it had noticeable effects. It probably took 2 weeks of daily use to feel anything. And even then, it was pretty mild. I would say the biggest effect I felt was it being an anti depressant. For no reason you feel upbeat and positive about everything. The test booster I used was also an estrogen blocker, which probably is the most important part of it.

Either way, best case scenario it will boost test levels by 30-40%. Where AAS will boost it by 4000%. The effects will be more noticeable for people with low test levels. It's kind of like a multivitamin, where it fills in any deficiencies.

In a month I might try a different brand that's D-Aspartic Acid based to see if it works differently.

How do you know it wasn't the placebro effect you were feeling.

It 100% is, but why does it matter? If it makes you feel better you've still benefited, right?

If it's an imagined effect you're not actually feeling better you just have convinced yourself you are.

Why spend a fortune for stuff that does nothing.

You could just buy a bottle of empty capsules and take them. Cheaper and safer.

Convincing yourself you feel better should hopefully require nothing tangible, ideally.

As soon as I started taking it I got vivid dreams and better sleep. Libido also increased a bit. It certainly isn't a magic pill, but you could notice effects.

Unless I get blood tests, there's no definitive answer either way.

The whole idea of the placebo effects is you cannot tell if it's a placebo effect or a real effect.

That's the thing it's impossible for you to differentiate between placebo and real effects.

Then where do you draw the line? Are all pre workouts a placebo? Caffeine, dextrose, multivitamins? What about everyone's favourite, Beta Alanine?

I think if the product has clinically tested ingredients, it's pretty black and white. The one I used had an estrogen and DHT blocker. Test is a tricky one though as everyone's levels are different and require different dosages to see changes. I think it was quite definitive that as soon as I started taking it, my sleep pattern and mood changed.

It is a challenge, quite correct.
the challenge is promoted by a supplement manufacturer.

Muddying the water even further; is a supplement a health food?

There isn't a line, it's impossible to tell for sure if what your feeling is real or placebo. I don't think you understand what a placebo is.

Just because you felt it when you started taking is doesn't mean it's not a placebo.

There was a study of a group of trained men told they were given test ( they weren't ) their 1RM for tested lifts all jumped up when they started the fake test. Placebro in action.

You're saying there's no proof that it isn't a placebo. But there's no proof to say that it is. Obviously the placebo effect is real for some situations, but there is also a limit of the effect.

Like I said in my last post, what about all of those other reactive ingredients? Is everything related to mental and cognitive enhancement a placebo?

I've got something to say about your world that you live in where everything must be proven against a placebo.

Firstly answer this question: If you take an AI like aromasin to reduce estrogen will this increase testosterone?

Now lastly you often doubt Res100 and how effective it is or in your eyes isn't so please get some and take 25mls per day and lets see how your joints and sex drive feel after about a week with no estrogen left in your body then you can tell me how res100 doesn't work.

We have plenty of people who take too much and reduce estrogen too much and have all the typical symptoms of super low estrogen. Then you can test out weather it is a placebo!

You clearly have no understand of the placebo effect or how trails need to be conducted to get information.

I'm sure all your testimonials work great with the skinny gym rats but don't keep posting bullshit here.

Exactly you have no clue if it's placebo or not so you can't say that it isn't because you don't know.
